What is DMZ?

A DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is a special configuration where a specific device on your network is exposed directly to the internet, bypassing the router's firewall. It essentially forwards all ports to that device, making it a last-resort solution for connection issues.

How to Enable DMZ?

  • Log in to your router's settings.
  • Navigate to the DMZ Settings section (often found under Firewall or Security).DMZ configuration location
  • Enable DMZ checkbox and enter the IP address of your device you want to be exposed.DMZ enable flag
  • Save and restart your router.
